Hehe I’ve just done another nail design ♡ I was inspired by some vintage pattern fabrics I found online ♡♡♡ Here’s how I did it (first tutorial ever I think?):
First: Coat your nails with a vintage-ish colour (I used Barry M’s Mint green)
Next, use a big dotting tool (or the tip of a bobby pin) and make 3 big white dots.
This is the 1st step to make the laces strip.
While the white varnish hasn’t dried, use a small dotting tool (or a toothpick) and create punched-out hole on the edge of the “lace”.
Now, use a colour you like to draw the flowers using a small tip brush. I used Barry M’s Flamingo Pink.
Second design: super simple, use a dotting tool (any size you like) and just dot away.
Third design: another lace.
Use the tip of the varnish brush and draw this:
Next use a brush and draw the lace’s edge.
Now use a toothpick and create lace patterns anyway you like.
Fourth design: use a darker green to draw little leaves on your nail using just the tip of the brush. I used Barry M’s Spring Green.
Drawing the flowers: use the same colour of the flowers you used on the thumb, and white polish. Don’t mix them together, use a big dotting tool (or bobby pin’s tip) and dip between the 2 colours.
Now just dot away right on the leaves and there you have your flowers.
Last design: use the varnish brush’s tip and make a big dot in the middle of your nail.
Use the same colour with the flowers on the other fingers and a small dotting tool to dot around the white big dot.
Use the same colour to make the flower (5 dots make a flower). Then press the tip of the dotting tool to create holes on the petals:
Last step: create white dots all over your nail.
DONE!
